Since Raspberry Pi 3 comes out, people are getting crazy about it – higher speed, more power, and most excitedly, the built-in WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE) that provides an excellent IoT solution.
Now we can do even more but wait, have you prepared all the accessories like a 5V 2.1A power adapter, an SD card with pre-installed NOOBS, a Micro USB cable, an HDMI Cable, a USB to TLL cable, an Ethernet cable and a WiFi USB adapter that you need to get started?
Well, if you haven’t prepared any of these, don’t worry, because we’ve got it nicely packed for you – the Quick Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. As a bonus, the kit also comes with a decent black enclosure that can make sure your precious Pi is well protected. Even though the kit’s name says it is for Raspberry Pi 3, it actually works on your Pi B+/2 as well, given that the Raspbian OS supports both Pi 3 and Pi B+/2. Also, you don’t need to worry about the enclosure as Pi 3 keeps the same shape, connectors and mounting holes as Pi B+/2.

Carrying a GrovePi+ board together with 12 carefully selective Grove sensors with 10 pieces cables , this starter kit gets you up and running with the Raspberry Pi quickly. Just slip the GrovePi+ board over your Raspberry Pi and connect sensors to the board, you’re ready to start hardware playing and prototyping with the powerful platform.
About The GrovePi+, It is stacked on top of the Raspberry Pi without the need for any other connections. Communication between the two occurs over the I2C interface. All Grove modules connect to the universal Grove connectors on the GrovePi+ shield via the universal 4 pin connector cable.
About Grove modules, which work on analog and digital signals, connect directly to the ATMEGA328 microcontroller on the Grove Pi+. The microcontroller acts as an interpreter between the Raspberry Pi and the Grove sensors. It sends, receives, and executes commands sent by the RaspberryPi. The GrovePi+ is compatible with Raspberry Pi A+,B,B+/2,3,4.
Building an IoT project on your Raspberry Pi has never been an easy task for many developers. This is due to the messy hardware connections involved, and complicated software programming. Grove Starter Kit for IoT based on Raspberry Pi works with Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Core and Microsoft Azure.
The GrovePi+ cape included in the kit is fully compatible with your Raspberry Pi 3 and Raspberry Pi 2 that both run Windows 10 IoT Core. With the easy-to-use Grove system, you are now able to connect up to 15 Grove modules to your Raspberry Pi simply through the Grove interfaces on the GrovePi+.
In addition to the high performance sensors and actuators, the kit contains a 5 inch HDMI Display and a RGB LCD with a backlight. The Grove Starter Kit for IoT based on Raspberry Pi is a powerful platform on which to begin your exploration on the Internet of Things.
Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 is a new official camera board released by Raspberry Pi Foundation. It carries an 8 megapixel Sony IMX219 image sensor which has a great performance in catching the high resolution of images and videos. The image sensor can output up to 3280×2464 pixel static images 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p90 video.
For the interface that connects the board, Raspberry Pi Camera has the standard CSI(Camera Serial Interface) which can be compatible with most of SBCs or Dev boards like Raspberry Pi 4, NVIDIA Jetson Nano and Raspberry Pi Zero, etc. But you need a Camera Cable for Raspberry Pi Zero to adapt the Pi Zero to this camera.
